Tournament Activities

Many activities will be offered during both weekends of play. Here are some reminders:

  • For managers/coaches (teams U9 to U13) don't forget the mandatory registration on Friday June 27, 2008 from 6pm to 9 pm. For older (teams U14 to U19) registration will be Friday July 4, 2008 from 9 am to 12 noon. Registration will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in La Jolla.

Many of our activities will take place at our Village, located at Hickman Fields.

  • Our Annual Dance will take place at TBA fields July 5th, 2008. The dance is open to age 14 and up. Food and drinks will be provided. The dance will start at 7PM.
  • The village will be the center of attention and will be as busy and fun as always. Here you will be entertained with our bizarre inflatable games, 3vs3 field, head tennis court, obstacle course, basketball hoop, interactive seminars (safety, nutrition, Injury treatment and prevention, college recruitment tips, fundraising and coaches clinics), and great food. If you are in a shopping mood don't forget to visit our tournament store with all the latest clothes, shoes and equipment from Italy.
  • Also stay in touch with your families, check tournament scores or just browse the web at our E-Village Internet Center also located at the Village. We will have 20 computers available free of charge for your use. Have fun and enjoy your stay in our beautiful city and have a great Pegasus Cup.
  • War of the Keepers: On Saturday June 28th at Hourglass fields, and Saturday July 5, 2008 at the Hickman Fields in the Village area we will have a 1 on 1 competition for goalkeepers. Come out and challenge other keepers for the right to call yourself the best at the Pegasus Cup. The war of the keepers is an intense, fast paced, hard shooting challenge, 1 on 1 competition, using two goals only yards apart. Each game will be 2 minutes per half with 30 seconds rest in between. Goalies change goal at halftime.
